FLEXIBILITY AND RELIABLE READ-OUT

High visibility

JRC’s JFC-130 echo sounder incorporates a 10.4” high definition color LCD display. The innovative display modes allow you to select and view four kinds of 16 color gradations and background colors. Day and night mode is also available to support particular daytime operations.

Simple operation

Keys and controls on the operation panel are minimized. Sensitivity, clutter rejection and STC are finely adjustable depending upon sea areas, seasons and fishing methods. Three types of fishing ground or fish species can be displayed and stored. Once they are on-screen, any type of fishing ground of fish species can be set and reset to another type by simply pushing the CUSTOM button.

Clear detection

The adoption of a zero-line function, the new transducer makes the line finer. The high-speed emission of 600 (JFC-130) and 300 (JFC-130HP) pulses or more per minute enables small fish in the surface water to be clearly detected. The bottom enlargement display in 16 color gradations discriminates bottom fish from the sea bottom distinctly.

Variable display

The JFC-130 echo sounder consists of a transducer, processor, keyboard and display, allowing for a flexible installation approach in confined spaces. The display can be positioned vertically and horizontally, and the choices for flush or bracket mounting, allowing for even more flexibility.

Simultaneous display of two images

By switching images, there are two are immediately on display for ease of comparison. A second display is possible with only one processor, using the optional RGB video output (CAD-239).

Depth graphs

Water temperature and depth graphs can be displayed, overlaying a fish echo image. Since the temperature and depth variations are stored, the graphs can easily be displayed by a one key operation. Generally fish echo images are displayed on a full screen.

A-Scope display

A fish echo is displayed in a color tone with a width depending upon its signal intensity. The display mode can be turned on or off by a one key-touch operation.

Distinction (mix) mode

The three-split display mode in which a distinction display is added to the dual-frequency split is very useful in discriminating fish species.

Bottom discrimination mode

In the bottom lock enlargement mode, a long bottom tail shows a hard bottom (such as base rock) while a short bottom tail shows a soft bottom (mud and sand). Thus, the bottom topology can be discriminated depending upon the tail width.
